Limited term Drivers License (California)

So my wife walked to a DMV in California today (I will disclose the exact location later, if it helps.) She recently got her 10 year Green Card. DMV Employees there said my wife would still get a limited term license of 5 years. Is this true? California DMV website is not clear who gets limited term or not.
Top Comment: A regular license is good for five birthdays in California. If your legal presence is good for less than five years, then the limited term license expires in less than five years. However, even in such cases, the fee is not due for five birthdays. The did make a change a few years ago to long term legal presence people, but I'm not familiar with what these. changes were. I don't believe the field office has anything to do with determining the expiration date of a legal presence limited term license. That's not the case with a medical limited term license, but I think the legal presence limited term license is determined by the expiration date. You probably can confirm that, but I'm 90% sure that's how it is. Try calling the Legal Presence Unit, (916) 657-7445. I suspect they can give you the most up to date rules about Legal Presence Limited Term.

Traveling with CA REAL ID “limited term”

I’m so sad that my 5-year regular license with no “limited term” or “federal limits apply” got stolen so of course, I applied for the REAL ID. I felt identity-less without a license and was excited that I finally got it in the mail. My new REAL ID license is only valid for three years and with a limited term stamp on the top right corner.
I’m very grateful that I’m still able to drive around and that I am able to work, however, it makes me skeptical of traveling. Has anyone ever traveled to red states with the “limited term” real ID’s? Did you get stopped/questioned? I would really like to travel to Wyoming or other places in the East Coast.

They make no difference. Even if you’re worried about border checkpoints you would need to carry your EAD not your DL.
Paypal has limited my account and requested photo id.

I’ve been selling online for about 5 months now, and after I made a $200 sale, they’ve blocked me from paying with paypal and transferring money to my bank account. I’ve always shipped my orders on time with tracked shipping and have a good reputation, so I don’t know where this is coming from. In order to bring my account back to normal, I’ve had to upload photo ID, as well as business information & the original receipt for the item I’ve sold. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a particular reason as to why this happens?

Top Comment: This isn’t the first time paypal has done this to small businesses. There is a youtube video by minniesmall. She is an artist who talked about her back and forth experience with them. I hope you manage to open your account again. Once you do that, I recommend you to not use paypal again and find a more better company to manage your finances.
Paypal photo ID headache

I had paypal for 8 years now and recently it wanted me to verify my account with a photo id. I sent in my valid driver's license and I received an email saying resubmit a different form of ID. I submitted my passport picture along with the proof of address then I receive an email saying my account has been further limited. I called paypal and the agent on the call transferred me to the resolutions center and the agent there saw the pictures and said "these are not acceptable. Please resubmit a driver's license, passport or some from of government ID." I submitted a clearer picture of both afterwards. I received an email saying my account is now disabled. I appealed by calling again and the tier 2 resolution center rep said my IDs were not valid. I don't understand what they want from me.
Top Comment: Were you blocking any part of the ID? They need a complete photo of both sides of the license I believe. Unfortunately this is a user forum, PayPal doesn't help here. What’s the ID number the application asks for when signing up? Also they have an option to put a date or permanent under that. What is this part of the application? What is the ID number they’re asking for?
